Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders

The Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders are the professional cheerleading squad for the Miami Dolphins of the NFL. They perform routines at every home game during pregame, halftime, and timeouts, and continue to be one of the league’s most recognized cheer teams. Every year, the cheerleaders release an annual swimsuit calendar, and they remain highly involved in community outreach, charity events, and international appearances. The Miami Dolphins and the Cheerleaders both experienced their inaugural season in 1966. The squad was originally called the Dolphin Dolls, consisting of 125 members ages 8 to 18. Each week, 48 were chosen to perform on the sidelines while the remainder sat in the end zone or bleachers.

In the 1970s, the team underwent significant changes, beginning with a new name: the Dolphin Starbrites. This group featured 30 performers who put on Broadway-style halftime shows. In 1983, the Starbrites rebranded once more, officially becoming the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders. Today, the Cheerleaders have continued to elevate their signature look with polished choreography, modern uniforms, and their iconic white boots. The team has performed internationally, been featured in global media, and remains one of the most recognized and celebrated cheerleading squads in the NFL.
