Matt Luke Biography

Matt Luke is the offensive line coach at the University of Georgia and the former head football coach at the University of Mississippi. Luke spent 2017-19 guiding the Rebels after being apart of the staff since 2012, when he joined as co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. In the wake of controversy surrounding former coach Hugh Freeze, he was named to the job on an interim basis in 2017 and went 6-6. As a player, Luke was a walk-on center for the Rebels and his father and brother also played at the school. He started his coaching career as a graduate assistant in Oxford in 1999 and also coached the offensive line and tight ends there from 2002-05. Luke has also spent time as an assistant at Murray State, Tennessee and Duke.
