About Mark Munoz
Mark Munoz is a professional wrestler who has wrestled more than just his opponents in the ring. Being born on a United States Military Base in Japan to two Filipino parents, Munoz wrestled the transition of moving to the California in his early childhood. He also wrestled a serious, career ending injury in high school that led him to give up the sport of football and take up wrestling, instead. A wise choice due to his strength and size, Munoz has been professionally wrestling since 2007 and has earned the nickname of “The Filipino Wrecking Machine”. Living up to his nickname, the black belt graduate from Oklahoma State University has earned 13 wins out of his total 18 mixed martial arts matches. Munoz currently fights in the Middleweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and as of 2014, is ranked #14 in official UFC rankings.
