About Marcedes Lewis
Marcedes Lewis is a tight end for the Green Bay Packers. For over a decade prior to arriving in Green Bay, Lewis became one of the most popular players Jacksonville Jaguars history. In 2010, Lewis made the Pro Bowl and set a Jaguars team record for receiving touchdowns with ten. He is also known as a stout blocker. Most of his career receiving totals rank among the top five in Jacksonville franchise history. The Jaguars initially selected Lewis in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He was a star at UCLA, earning first-team All-American and first-team All-Pac 10 accolades. That 2005 senior season, Lewis also won the John Mackey Award, given to the best tight end in the country. His 1,571 yards and 21 touchdowns are career records for a Bruins tight end. He was a Parade All-American at Poly High School. Lewis is from Long Beach, California and still lives there in the offseason. The Marcedes Lewis Foundation works to provide scholarships to Long Beach area youth. His youth football camp takes place at Long Beach State University.
