About Maddie Bowman
Maddie Bowman is one of the most accomplished female skiers in recent history. In 2014, Bowman won halfpipe gold at the Olympics. Bowman won four X-Games SuperPipe golds from 2013-16. She won her first medal, a silver, at the 2012 Winter X-Games.
At the 2016 X-Games, Bowman was the first female to ever throw a switch 900 in competition. She topped the AFP halfpipe rankings in 2016, 2014 and 2013. Bowman also has three FIS World Cup wins and has finished inside the top three in the overall rankings three times.
Bowman grew up in South Lake Tahoe, California with two skiing parents and built a love for the outdoors. She is currently a secondary Science teacher and has a degree in Sports Medicine from Sierra Nevada College.
