Maame Biney Biography

Maame Biney is a two-time Olympian, who most frequently competes in the 500, 1000, and 1500 meter short-track speed skating events. Biney has an amazing background, being originally born in Ghana before moving to the U.S. at the age of five and finding the sport a year later. She became just the second African-born athlete to represent Team USA at the Winter Olympics in 2018.
