About Lynn Dickey
Lynn Dickey was an NFL quarterback with the Houston Oilers and Green Bay Packers. Dickey is a member of the Packers Hall of Fame and was an All-Pro selection in 1983, when he threw for 4,458 yards and 32 touchdowns. No Packer threw for more yards in a season until Aaron Rodgers surpassed the mark in 2011. The Oilers originally selected Dickey in the third round out of Kansas State. His 6,208 career passing yards stood as a Wildcats record until Josh Freeman broke it in 2008. The #11 was retired at Kansas State to remember Dickey and his predecessor at quarterback, Steve Grogan. He is also a member of the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame. Dickey has held many post-football jobs. He worked as a restaurateur and in public relations. For a while, he co-hosted a mid-morning sports talk radio show in Kansas City on Sports Radio 810. Dickey currently works at Serve You, a Milwaukee, Wisconsin based prescription management firm.
