About Luke McCown
Luke McCown is a quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. McCown has spent most of his career in a backup role, but has had several shining moments in the NFL. Late in the 2007 season, he started three for the eventual NFC South champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and threw for 1,009 yards with five touchdowns and only three interceptions. McCown also started four games in his rookie campaign for the Cleveland Browns. In 2010, he was named the Jacksonville Jaguars top signal caller at the onset of the season. McCown achieved his greatest success prior to being a second round pick in the 2004 NFL Draft out of Louisiana Tech. He was a standout for the Bulldogs and still ranks highly on the career passing charts for the school. McCown’s older brother, Josh, is also an NFL quarterback.
