About Louis Vasquez
Louis Vazquez earned All-Big 12 honors in 2007 and 2008 and All-American honors in 2008 while playing on the offensive line at Texas Tech University. Heading into the 2009 NFL Draft he was heralded for his strength and stamina, leading the NFL Combine by bench pressing 225 pounds an astonishing 39 times. He went on to be selected in the 3rd round with the 78th overall pick by the San Diego Chargers in the 2009 NFL Draft. During his first training camp he won the starting job and has since become one of the top offensive guards in the league. He played his first three seasons in San Diego before being traded to the Denver Broncos. During his first year with the Broncos he earned Pro Bowl and NFL All-Pro honors after helping his team to an AFC Championship in 2013. Heading into the 2014 season hew was ranked as one of the top 100 NFL players at any position.
