About Latavius Murray
Latavius Murray has been one of the NFL's most consistent running backs throughout his career. Murray has been a contributor for seven different franchises and ran for over 1,000 yards in 2015. That season, he was also named to the Pro Bowl. Murray was originally drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.He initially got a chance to show what he could do in the NFL late in the 2014 season. He broke out in Week 12, running for 112 yards on four carries and scoring two touchdowns before being taken off the field due to a concussion.
At UCF, he rushed for 2,424 yards and 37 touchdowns in his career. As a senior, Murray was a first-team All-Conference USA pick. He really emerged at the end of his sophomore year when he won MVP of the Conference USA Championship game and the Liberty Bowl back-to-back. Murray was a top-rated in-state recruit and Gatorade Player of the Year in New York coming out of high school.
