Larry Fedora

Larry Fedora is the current head coach of the USFL's New Orleans Breakers. He is a former head coach at both the University of North Carolina and Southern Miss. While in college, Fedora played wide receiver for Austin University from 1981-84. He got his coaching start at his alma mater as a gradate assistant in 1986. Fedora spent four seasons as the head coach for Garland High School, but returned to the collegiate level in 1991. Fedora coached at Baylor University from 1991-9 where he coached the wide receivers, tight ends and running backs. He then moved to the Air Force Academy in 1997, where he spent one season coaching the quarterbacks and wide receivers. Fedora became the offensive coordinator for Middle Tennessee in 1999 where he spent three seasons. He was hired in 2002 by Ron Zook to be the run game coordinator, perimeter game coordinator, and offensive coordinator. Fedora became the offensive coordinator for Oklahoma State in 2005 where he remained until 2007.

On December 11, 2007, Fedora was named as the head coach of Southern Mississippi. He had four winning seasons guiding the Golden Eagles program, including a 2011 campaign where he went 12-2 and won Conference USA. After that year, Fedora took the job at UNC, where he also ultimately had success. In 2015, the Tar Heels finished 11-3 and won the ACC Coastal Division. After leaving North Carolina in 2018, Fedora became an analyst at Texas in 2019 before joining Baylor as their offensive coordinator for the 2020 season.
