About Larry Eustachy
Larry Eustachy is a college basketball coach and he is currently the head coach of Colorado State University’s men’s basketball team. Eustachy played basketball for Citrus Community College from 1975-76. His coaching career began in 1978 when he became the assistant coach for Citrus Community College. Eustachy then became the assistant coach for Mississippi State from 1981-86. He was also the assistant coach for Idaho, Utah and Ball State. Eustachy was the head coach at Idaho from 1990-93 where he led the Vandals to the 1993 Big Sky regular season championship. After coaching for Idaho, Eustachy took over as the head coach for Utah State University for five years. In 1998, he was named head coach at Iowa State where he led the Cyclones to their best season in school history in 1999-2000. Eustachy led the Cyclones to a second straight Big 12 Conference title in 2001 and signed a contract extension that made him the highest-paid employee in Iowa. Eustachy also coached Southern Mississippi from 2004-2012 before moving on to Colorado State in 2012.
