Larry Donnell

Larry Donnell is a professional tight end that plays for the New York Giants of the National Football League. Donnell attended high school at Carroll High where he played football, basketball, and baseball. Donnell played football at Grambling State University where he played football for four seasons. As a freshman, he switched from quarterback to tight end. After his senior season, Donnell was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. Donnell was not drafted during the 2011 NFL Draft and sat out the entire 2011 season before he signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent on March 13, 2012. Donnell was waived by the Giants on August 31, 2012 and signed to their practice squad on September 1, 2012. On September 2, 2013, the Giants signed Donnell to reserve/ future contract. On September 25, 2014, Donnell played on a nationally televised Thursday Night Football game and scores 3 touchdowns. It was the first time a Giants tight end had scored three touchdowns since 1962.
