Lance Moore

Lance Moore is a professional football player who plays wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL. Moore attended the University of Toledo where he played wide receiver from 2001 to 2004. During the 2004 Mid-American Conference Championship, Moore caught four touchdown passes for the win against Miami University. He was elected as a first-team All-Mid American Conference player. On April 29, 2005, the Cleveland Browns signed Moore as an undrafted free agent. Later that year, Moore was released and then signed to the New Orleans Saints’ practice squad. In 2006, the Saints allocated Moore to NFL Europe where he played for the Berlin Thunder. It was not until October 14, 2007 that Moore received his first professional start. Moore had a fourth quarter two-point conversion catch during Super Bowl XLIV. He had the best season of his career in 2012 with 1,041 yards and 6 touchdowns. In 2013, Moore struggled with injuries, which hurt his role with the Saints, and he was released on March 7, 2014. Moore signed a two year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers on March 21, 2014.
