About Kyle Orton
Kyle Orton joined the Chicago Bears in 2005 as a fourth round pick out of Purdue University. Orton signed with Purdue after a stellar high school career in which he was ranked the No. 2 high school quarterback prospect in the country. During his days at Purdue he earned First Team All-Big Ten honors in 2004 and Honorable Mention All-Big Ten honors in 2003 after throwing for 8,918 yards and 61 career touchdowns. During his first year with the Bears in 2005 he was named Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week in week 7 and went on to throw for 1,869 yards and 9 touchdowns while starting 15 of his teams 16 regular season games. The following year he led the Bears to an NFC Championship in 2006. Since that time he has played for the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys before landing with the Buffalo Bills in 2014. After starting for the Bills, he officially retired, endng hs career with17,530 yards through the airand 97 touchdowns.
