Kristy McPherson

Kristy McPherson was diagnosed with Still’s disease when she was 11, but has overcome all obstacles to become one of the stars on the LPGA Tour. A native of Conway, South Carolina, she played her college golf for the Gamecocks of South Carolina and won seven tournaments from 1999 to 2003. After earning her degree in Sports and Entertainment Management she turned pro and joined the Futures Tour, where she competed for six years and won two events while never missing a cut in 60 events. In 2007 she joined the LPGA Tour and finished 97th on the money list her first year. In 2008 she had a huge year, recording six top-10 finishes and jumping to 47th on the money list. It was 2009 however that put her on the map. That year her major finishes included a 7th place finish at the Women’s British Open, a 5th place finish at the LPGA Championship and a runner-up finish at the ANA Inspiration. To date she has earned millions on tour and continues to be one of the most consistent performers on the LPGA Tour year after year.
