About Joshua Beckley
At the time of his run to second place in the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event, Joshua Beckley had been a professional poker player for under a year. He came into the event with five WSOP cashes. Beckley was in seventh position entering the final table. He lost his bid when he went all-in with a pair of fours. Each of those November Nine participants were guaranteed at least $1 million and Beckley received over $4.4 million for his runner-up showing. Beckley is from Marlton, New Jersey and had been playing poker for eight years prior to entering the 2015 WSOP. Just like Main Event champion, Joe McKeehen, he is only 24 years old, so much can be expected in his poker future.
