Josh Fields

Josh Fields is one of the top relief pitchers for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fields was a four-year star at the University of Georgia. He helped the Bulldogs reach the College World Series in 2006 and 2008. In 2006, Fields was named a second-team All-American and first-team All-Southeastern Conference pick. As a senior, he collected 18 saves and did not allow an earned run in the first 23.2 innings that season. Fields was named SEC Pitcher of the Year, the NCBWA Stopper of the Year and a first-team All-American. He set a conference record with 41 career saves. The Seattle Mariners went on to make him the 20th pick in the 2008 MLB Draft. Fields was traded to the Boston Red Sox and acquired by the Houston Astros in the 2012 Rule 5 Draft before making his major league debut in 2013. He spent the parts of the first four seasons of his career in Houston before being traded to the Dodgers in 2016. In 2017, Fields pitched in 57 games, posted a 2.84 ERA and helped Los Angeles reach the World Series.
