About Jonathan Allen
Jonathan Allen is a defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings. Allen spent the first eight years of his career in Washington and was a Pro Bowl selection in 2021 and 2022. The franchise originally selected him in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Allen is one of the most decorated defensive players in University of Alabama history. During his time in Tuscaloosa, Allen helped the Tide win three Southeastern Conference titles and the 2015 College Football Playoff.
As a senior, he was a unanimous All-American and the SEC Defensive Player of the Year. He also won the Bronko Nagurski Award, Chuck Bednarik Award and Ted Hendricks Award.
Coming out of Stone Bridge High School, Overall, he was a three-time first-team All-SEC pick. Allen was the Gatorade Player of the Year in Virginia and a five-star prospect.
