About Johnny Manziel
Johnny Manziel, also known as “Johnny Football”, is one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in college football history. Prior to joining the Cleveland Browns as a first-round selection in the 2012 NFL Draft he starred at Texas A&M University and entertained millions with his unbelievable show stopping plays. With an ability to pass in the pocket and scramble when necessary, Johnny Football passed for 3,706 yards and 26 touchdowns in 2012 to go along with 1,410 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns, making him the first freshman in history to pass for 3,000 yards and rush for 1,000 yards in a season. His performance earned him All-American honors and the Heisman Trophy and Davey O’Brien Award, making him the first freshman to win either award. After being drafted by the Browns he signed several notable sponsorship deals with companies such as Snickers and Nike and began his professional career in the NFL as one of the most popular young players in the league.
