About J.J. McCarthy
J.J. McCarthy is a star quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings who was selected with the tenth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. McCarthy's legacy was already cemented before he entered the pros due to his standout college career at the University of Michigan. In his final year, he led the Wolverines to an undefeated season, Big Ten title and a win in the College Football Playoff National Championship.
As a starter for Michigan, McCarthy went 27-1 and won the Big Ten all three years. His record stands as the highest winning percentage in NCAA FBS history. During that junior season, he won Big Ten Quarterback of the Year honors and was named first-team All-Big Ten. McCarthy was a second-team All-Big Ten pick in 2022.
