About Jessie Diggins
Jessie Diggins is an American cross-country skier who made history at the 2018 Winter Olympics. She became the first person, along with her teammate Kikkan Randall, to win a cross-country skiing gold medal for Team USA. They captured the gold in the team sprint competition. Diggins has also won four World Championship medals. She originally partnered with Randall to win gold at the 2013 Worlds. Diggins posted back-to-back top ten finishes in the World Cup standings in 2016 and 2017. In her final season and fourth Olympics at Milano Cortina 2026, she battled a rib injury from an early crash. Still, she powered to bronze in the women's 10km freestyle, collapsing in pain at the finish line yet securing her fourth Olympic medal. She has three FIS World Cup overall titles, multiple Tour de Ski wins, World Championship golds, and over 30 World Cup victories. The movie “Threshold” (2026), detailing her story, is set to release at the conclusion of the Olympic Games.
