Jesse Marsch Biography

Jesse Marsch has had the rare road from the United States to the top of the European soccer world as a manager. Marsch currently overseas the German Bundesliga club, RB Leipzig. With RB Salzberg, he won back-to-back Austrian Bundesliga and Austrian Cup titles. He had previously excelled in MLS as head coach of the Montreal Impact and New York Red Bulls. Marsch won the MLS Supporters' Shield in his first year in New York. The club record 18 victories and 60 points also notched him MLS Coach of the Year honors. He started his coaching career as an assistant with the U.S. Men's National Team after a successful tenure as a player in MLS. Over his 14 years in the league, Marsch won three MLS Cup championships and four U.S. Open Cup titles. He played under legendary American manager Bob Bradley at all three of his stops in MLS and later coached with him with the USMNT.
