About Jerricho Cotchery
Jerricho Cotchery joined the New York Jets in 2004 as a fourth round selection out of North Carolina State University. While playing at NC State he was a two-time first team All-ACC selection and tallied 3,119 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns. He is one of only two players in Wolfpack history to record two seasons of 1,000 or more yards receiving, and also holds the record for most consecutive games with a reception with 39. In the 2004 NFL Draft the Jets selected him with the 108th overall pick. He went on to play the first six seasons of his career in New York and earned the Ed Block Courage Award in 2008 for his dedication to leadership, team and community. He went on to see time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers and remained one of the most consistent receivers in the NFL. Cotchery retired with 524 catches for 6,623 receiving yards and 34 touchdowns. He is currently an assistant wide receivers coach for the Panthers.
