About Jeff Saturday
Jeff Saturday joined the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League as an amateur free agent in 1998 out of the University of North Carolina. While playing center for the Tar Heels from 1994 to 1997 he started every game and earned served as a team captain during his junior and senior seasons. Both years he earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors and also earned All-ACC Academic honors in 1997. Although he went undrafted in the 1998 NFL Draft he maintained his goal of playing in the NFL and worked his way into a spot with the Ravens practice squad in 1998. The following year he signed on with the Indianapolis Colts and everything fell into place. Over the next 13 seasons he earned six trips to the Pro-Bowl, four NFL All-Pro honors, and the NFL Alumni Offensive Lineman of the Year award in 2007. He also enjoyed monumental team success while playing for the Colts, helping his team to two AFC Championships and a win in Super Bowl XLI.
