Jeff Jagodzinski Biography

Jeff Jagodzinski, a former football player himself, is currently the offensive coordinator at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Jagodzinski, a Milwaukee, Wisconsin native born in 1963, grew up loving the game of football. He played collegiately as a three-year starting fullback at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. After graduating from UW-Whitewater, Jagodzinski commenced his coaching career as the running backs coach at his alma mater. Moving on to a handful of other collegiate teams over the next decade, including Northern Illinois, LSU, East Carolina and Boston College, Jagodzinski served mostly as the offensive lineman coach. He then entered the big leagues to work with the Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons in the NFL between 1999 and 2006. After more than two decades of coaching, Jagodzinski got his big break as he obtained his first head coaching position at Boston College in 2007. He won two ACC Atlantic Division Championships in his two seasons as head coach. Jagodzinski also served as the head coach for the Omaha Nighthawks of the UFL for a season in 2010. He continues to share his experience and wisdom with Georgia State, which he has been doing since 2013 as the offensive coordinator. Jagodzinski is married with five children and sets a good example for his children and young adult athletes each and every day.
