About Jason Smith
Jason Smith is a forward for the Orlando Magic. In his first season with the Magic, he played in 76 games and averaged 7.2 points per game. Smith signed with Orlando after a season with the New York Knicks. From 2010-2014, he played with the New Orleans Hornets/Pelicans. Smith served as an occasional starter in New Orleans and grew into his game at the NBA level. In his second season with the Hornets, he averaged a career-high 9.9 points per game. After a draft-night trade in 2007, Smith joined the Philadelphia 76ers and spent the first two seasons of his career there. He played collegiately at Colorado State. With the Rams, Smith was a two-time first-team All-Mountain West Conference selection. During his final season, he averaged 16.8 points and a conference-best 10.1 rebounds per game.
