About Jarrion Lawson
Jarrion Lawson is one of the top long jumpers in the world. After leaving the University of Arkansas, Lawson qualified for the 2016 Olympics by recording the top long jump mark at the U.S. Trials. As a Razorback, he made track and field history. At the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Championship he became the first athlete since Jesse Owens in 1936 to win the long jump, 100-meter and 200-meter dashes at the same meet. During his senior year, Lawson also won his second NCAA Indoor Long Jump Championship. He has a total of six NCAA Championships to his name due to also being a member of Arkansas' winning 4x100 meter outdoor relay team as a junior. Lawson is a 15-time All-American as well. He holds the unique distinction of being the NCAA outdoor career points leader.
