About Jamie Anderson
Jamie Anderson grew up snowboarding in South Lake Tahoe, California and won her first professional slope-style completion in 2005 at the age of 15. A year later she became the youngest female athlete to medal at the Winter X-Games, earning a Bronze Medal in the snowboarding slopestyle event in 2006. She has since earned six gold medals, five silver medals and two more bronze medals at the X-Games, with all but two of them coming in slopestyle. In 2014, she solidified her reputation as one of the top slopestyle riders in the world by winning the gold medal in the inaugural women's event at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games. Anderson repeated her feat of winning Olympic gold in 2018. Outside of X-Games and Olympic competition she competes on the Dew Tour and Women’s Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour. In addition to her reputation as a top competitor on the slopes, Anderson is also well known for her radiant and down-to-earth personality.
