About James Develin
James Develin has been a mainstay at fullback for the New England Patriots since 2012. He had a unique road to the NFL, originally starting out as a defensive lineman at Brown University. In 2010, Develin spent time with the Arena Football League's Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz and the United Football League's Florida Tuskers. He started transitioning to fullback with the Tuskers and spent two years on the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad learning the position. In his second season with the Patriots, he became a full-time starter. Since coming to New England, Develin has won two Super Bowls. He was named to his first Pro Bowl in 2017.
