About Hyun-soo Kim
Hyun-soo Kim is an outfielder for the Baltimore Orioles. The South Korean gained notoreity playing for the Doosan Bears in the KBO League. Kimplayed ten seasons for the Bears, winning three KBO Golden Glove Awards. In his final season of 2015, Doosan won the Korean Series championship Kim led the league in hits in 2008 and 2009 and won the batting title with a .357 averagein 2008. That season, he also finished runner up in MVP voting. Kim was part of the South Korea team that won the last Olympic gold medal in baseball in 2008. He also competed for his country during their silver medal showing in the 2009 World Baseball Classic. Kim was undrafted despite being honored withthe Lee Yeong-min Award as the top high school hitter in South Korea in 2005. He signed a two-year, $7 million contract with the Orioles during the 2015 offseason and is expected to stabilize left field for the club for years to come.
