A five-star recruit from Rabun County High, Stockton set Georgia state records for career passing yards, touchdowns, and rushing scores, earning MaxPreps All-American honors. Initially committed to South Carolina, he flipped to Georgia in 2021, redshirting in 2022 before backing up Carson Beck. In 2025, Stockton's breakout season saw him throw for 3,123 yards, 23 TDs, and 7 INTs (69.9% completion), plus 453 rushing yards and 8 rushing TDs, leading Georgia to a 12-1 record and an SEC title.
