About Gary Barnidge
Gary Barnidge was a professional tight end in the NFL who was selected to the 2015 Pro Bowl. Born in Bowling Green, Barnidge attended the University of Louisville where he played in a total of 48 games and started 29 of them. In his college career, Barnidge recorded 108 receptions for 1,491 and 17 touchdowns. He was also named First-team All-Big East in 2007. The Carolina Panthers selected Barnidge in the 5th round as the 141st overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. In 2011, Barnidge and his close friend Breno Giacomini founded a nonprofit organization named American Football Without Barriers. The organization held its first camp in March 2013 in China. The Cleveland Browns signed Barnidge as an unrestricted free agent on March 14, 2013. In his professional career, Barnidge has recorded 44 receptions for 603 yards and 3 touchdowns. Barnidge appeared on two episodes of Total Divas, a TV show about WWE divas going on dates.
