About Eric Kelly
Eric Kelly has dreams of becoming the first MMA fighter from the Philippines to become a world champion in the sport. Despite numerous boxing greats, no Filipino has ever taken the title in the rising sport of mixed martial arts. Standing at 57 tall and weighing in at 145 lbs. Kelly is one of the more promising up and coming fighters in the featherweight division. Beginning his professional career with a 9-0-0 record, Kelly had a shot at the title in 2013 but lost by TKO to Honorio Banario. Going by the name The Natural, Kelly has responded well to the only loss of his career by winning his next two fights for an overall career record of 11-1-0. His go-to move is known as the rear-naked choke which he has used to finish off 6 of his 11 victories. Kellys last fight came in July of 2014 and by the end of 2014 he was the 104th fighter in the world by Tapology.
