Drew Allar

Penn State Nittany Lions quarterback Drew Allar possesses exceptional qualities as a quarterback through his strong throwing arm and his ability to remain calm under stress and protect the ball effectively. Allar stands at 6'5" and weighs 236 pounds and has proven himself as a top college football quarterback.

Allar was born on March 8, 2004 in Medina Ohio before starting as quarterback during his sophomore year at Medina High School. The senior year of Allar resulted in 4,444 passing yards alongside 48 touchdown passes which brought him the Ohio Mr. Football award. Throughout his high school years Allar accumulated 9,103 passing yards and 98 touchdowns. Allar received his first three-star recruit rating yet became a five-star prospect according to 247Sports after joining Penn State.

Allar joined Penn State in 2022 and served as the backup quarterback behind Sean Clifford. The 2023 season brought him the starting quarterback position which resulted in a 10-2 record and a Rose Bowl tournament appearance. He threw for 2,631 yards and 25 touchdowns with only two interceptions. The 2024 season under offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki saw Allar throw for 3,327 yards and 24 touchdowns which displayed his NFL prospects. Allar chose to return for his senior year in 2025 after the College Football Playoff semifinal loss to Notre Dame because he needed more time to improve his skills before leading Penn State to the playoffs.

Through his public presence Allar works to support his community. Through his partnership with Kellogg's Mission Tiger project Allar donated $30,000 to support youth sports programs in Pennsylvania middle schools. The author wrote a children's book called "The Men In Back" to share his life story and all book profits supported the Medina Youth Gridiron Football program.

The upcoming senior year of Allar presents an opportunity for him to establish himself as Penn State's best quarterback ever while making a strong case for the 2026 NFL Draft.
