About Dick Williams
Dick Williams became the Cincinnati Reds senior vice president and general manager in 2016. He was promoted to president of baseball operations and general manager a year later. Williams originally joined the organization in 2006. He had a unique road to professional baseball. After graduating from the University of Virginia, Williams worked as an investment banker and on George W. Bush's reelection campaign. His family has had an ownership stake in the franchise in the 1960s.
