About Deuce McAllister
Deuce McAllister is one of the best players in Ole Miss history. During his career with the Rebels he became the only player in school history to record three seasons of 1,000 or more all-purpose yards and broke team records for carries, yards, rushing touchdowns, total touchdowns, points and 100-yard games. In 2001 the New Orleans Saints selected McAllister in the first round and made him one of their franchise players. From 2001 to 2009 he was one of the most consistent running backs in the league, leading the NFC in rushing in 2002 and earning two Pro Bowl appearances in 2002 and 2003. In 2010 he reached the height of football accomplishment when he helped the Saints to an NFC championship and Super Bowl title. By the time he decided to hang up his cleats in 2009 he had broken Saints franchise records in all-time rushing attempts, rushing yards, and rushing touchdowns. Outside of football McAllister runs the Catch 22 Foundation with the mission of helping out under-privileged youth and adolescents in the Gulf South Region.
