About Derrick Morgan
Derrick Morgan hails from Lancaster, Pennsylvania and starred at Georgia Tech University from 2007 to 2009. In 2009 Morgan recorded 52 tackles, 12 sacks and two forced fumbles, earning him ACC Defensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-American honors as an outside linebacker. After his junior season he was selected in the first round as the 16th overall pick by the Tennessee Titans. Upon being drafted by the Titans he signed a six-year, $19 million deal with $11 million guaranteed over the life of the contract. During his first four seasons in the NFL he has recorded 155 tackles, 18.5 sacks and forced 3 fumbles. In 2011 he was honored with the awarding of the Ed Block Courage Award, presented by his teammates for the sportsmanship, courage and example he set over the course of his career.
