About Derek Falvey
Derek Falvey is the executive vice president and chief baseball officer for the Minnesota Twins. He started his career in pro baseball with the Cleveland Indians as an intern in 2007. Falvey rose through the ranks before ultimately being promoted to assistant general manager in 2016. He also served as assistant director of baseball operations and the co-director of baseball operations. Falvey got his job with the Indians after doing independent scouting work in the Cape Cod Baseball League. He played college baseball at Trinity College.
