David Plummer Biography

David Plummer won two medals at the 2016 Olympics.  As an individual, he won bronze in the 100 meter backstroke.  Plummer also was a member of the U.S. gold medal 4x100 individual medley relay team.  He qualified for the Games by finished second in the 100 back at the U.S. Olympic Trials.  Plummer has two World Championships medals in his swimming career.  He took silver in the 100 back at the 2013 Worlds and gold as a member of the 4x100 IM team in 2011.  Plummer has won three medals at U.S. Nationals.  He swam collegiately at the University of Minnesota.
