About Dave Paulsen
Dave Paulsen has worked his way up in the coaching profession to serve as head coach at George Mason and Bucknell. Paulsen went 95-91 in six seasons at George Mason. He had a successful seven-year run at Bucknell, going 124-92. The Bison had three 20-win seasons, won the Patriot League four times, and twice advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Paulson won two Patriot League Coach of the Year awards. Paulsen’s previous head coaching experience came at the Division II and III levels. His alma mater, Williams, won the Division III national championship with him at the helm. Paulsen was also the head coach at Le Moyne and St. Lawrence. His first coaching job came at Williams in 1988 and Paulsen also was an assistant at Michigan and Cleveland State.
