About Dashon Goldson
Dashon Goldson grew up in Los Angeles, California and played his college football at the University of Washington. While playing for the Huskies from 2003 to 2006 he tallied 293 tackles and six interceptions in route to earning his degree in American Ethnic Studies. In the 2007 NFL Draft he was selected in the fourth round by the San Francisco 49ers, allowing him to play in his home state of California. Goldson played the first five seasons of his pro career in San Francisco before joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013. While playing for the 49ers he earned two Pro Bowl selections in 2011 and 2012 and an NFL All-Pro nod in 2012 after helping his squad to an NFC Championship.
