About Daryl Washington
Daryl Washington is a Texas boy, born and raised in Dallas. While playing at Irving High School he was one of the top prep linebackers in the country, notching 168 tackles and four sacks as a senior on his way to earning all-district and district defensive player of the year honors. He went on to star at Texas Christian University, where he served as a starting linebacker from 2006 to 2009 and earned All-MWC and All-American honors as a senior. In the 2010 NFL Draft the Arizona Cardinals selected Washington in the second round with the 47th overall pick. During his first season with the Cardinals he tallied 78 sacks and established himself as one of the top linebackers in the league. Over the next four seasons he tallied 394 tackles, 18 sacks and 6 interceptions to go along with three forced fumbles. In 2012 Washington earned Pro Bowl and Second Team All-Pro honors, and was named as one of the top 100 players in the league in both 2013 and 2014.
