Daniel Snyder

Daniel Snyder is a businessman and owner of the NFL’s Washington Redskins. Early in his life, Snyder showed signs of ingenuity and a business mind, constantly trying to find a way to earn money and work hard for it. His earliest ventures include running a bus program for hockey fans and running a small travel agency that flew college students to spring break destinations. As his experience grew, so did his ideas, as Snyder began working with companies all around the company. His big break came in 1989 when Snyder and his sister created Snyder communications, growing the company to be worth over nine million dollars in just a few short years. Throughout the 1990s, Snyder grew his company to be one of the top communication companies in the world, gobbling up competitors, eventually selling the business in 2000 for $2 billion dollars. Following previous Redskins’ owner Jack Cooke’s death, Snyder purchased the team and their stadium for $800 million dollars. In fifteen years as owner, Snyder has increased revenue for the team immensely, creating bigger and better amenities for the team and its fans.
