About D'Onta Foreman
D'Onta Foreman is a running back for the Cleveland Browns. Foreman has played for several franchises in his career, rushing for a career-best 914 yards and five touchdowns with the Carolina Panthers in 2022.
Foreman was originally selected by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He vaulted himself into top prospect consideration with a breakthrough junior season at the University of Texas. Foreman rushed for a nation-best 2,028 yards and 15 touchdowns on the way to winning the Doak Walker Award.
2016 was his first campaign as the starting running back at Texas and he became the first Longhorn to rush for 1,000 yards since Jamaal Charles in 2007. He was a consensus first-team All-American and a first-team All-Big 12 pick. During the season, he was a two-time Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week. Foreman attended Texas City High School prior to commiting to UT.
