About Colin Braun
Colin Braun is a professional American racecar driver who previously raced for NASCAR and most recently competes in the American Le Mans Series. Braun launched his racing career at the extremely young age of 6 and debuted internationally at age 8. Competing for factory kart racing teams at such a young age, Braun didn’t move on to racing cars until age 14. Throughout the course of his career, he has raced in several countries including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Italy, France, England, Monaco, and Japan. He is originally from Ovalo, Texas, where he was born in September of 1988. Braun’s most prestigious award received has been the 2008 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rookie of the Year award and his most prestigious placement ranking has been 23rd while competing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2010. Braun is also a record setter, as he became the youngest driver to stand on the podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He continues his life-long dedication to the sport as he competes in the American Le Mans Series to this day.
