About Andy Murray
Andy Murray has been coaching some level of hockey since the mid-1970s. Murray has been a head coach for both the Los Angeles Kings and St. Louis Blues in the NHL and made four trips to the playoffs in ten seasons. When he left the Kings, he was the franchise’s all-time leader in wins and games coached. Murray also impressively became the first coach to ever lead a team to three World Championships when he accomplished the feat for Canada. He originally got his coaching start at the junior and college level in Canada while still working for his family’s car dealership during the day. In 2011, Murray took the post he currently holds as the head coach at Western Michigan. At the end of his first season piloting the Broncos, the team advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
