About Chris Ogbonnaya
Chris Ogbonnaya is a running back who played six seasons in the National Football League. Ogbonnaya has bounced between practice squads and active rosters for his short stint in the NFL. He was drafted in 2007 by the St. Louis Rams and also played for the the Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns, and currently the Carolina Panthers. Ogbannaya is a diverse back known as much for his receiving abilities as he is his rushing abilities. At the University of Texas, Ogbannaya began his career as a wide receiver before switching to the running back role. He played significant minutes in his Junior and Senior years with the Longhorns and saw time in eight games during their 2005 BCS National Championship campaign. Ogbannaya was a four-time First-Team Academic All-Big 12 while at Texas, maintaining a 3.5 GPA throughout his college career.
