Chris Harris Biography

Chris Harris Jr. is one of the top cornerbacks in football. Harris worked his way to prominence after being an undrafted free agent out of the University of Kansas. He was signed by the Denver Broncos and named to the 2011 Pro Football Writers Association All-Rookie Team. In Harris' second year, he returned two interceptions for touchdowns and ranked fifth in the league in receiving yards allowed. He had a breakout in 2014, finishing first in the least passing yards allowed. Harris also did not allow a touchdown all season and earned Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro honors. He was named a second-team All-Pro and Pro Bowler again in 2015 and helped the Broncos win Super Bowl 50. Harris recorded an amazing streak from December 1, 2013 to December 15, 2015 where he did not allow a touchdown. He debuted 2016 ranked among the NFL Top 100 Players. Harris was selected as a first-team All-Pro pick for the first time and made his third straight Pro Bowl that season. He was selected to his fourth Pro Bowl in 2018 and joined the Los Angeles Chargers as a free agent in 2020.
