Chris Godwin Biography

Chris Godwin is a standout wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Godwin was originally selected by the Bucs in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He gradually improved as a rookie and in Week 16, caught nine passes for 111 yards and a touchdown to win NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. In 2018, Godwin took his game to a new level, catching 59 passes for 842 yards and seven touchdowns. Prior to arriving in Tampa Bay, he played college football at Penn State. As a sophomore, Godwin went for over 1,000 yards receiving and then he followed that up by catching 11 touchdowns as a junior. In his final collegiate game, he had a career-best 187 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the Rose Bowl.
